TRADING SYMBOL:  The Toronto Stock Exchange – AW.UN

VANCOUVER, April 9, 2020 /CNW/ - A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund (the Fund) announced today that the Fund has made changes to its annual general meeting (the Meeting) scheduled for April 28, 2020.

The Meeting continues to be scheduled for April 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. (Pacific time). However, due to the current serious public health impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, in consideration of the health and safety of our unitholders, colleagues, stakeholders and our broader community, this year's Meeting will be held by teleconference only. Unitholders will be able to listen to, and ask questions at, the Meeting via teleconference instead of attending the Meeting in person.

To attend the Meeting by teleconference, please dial the following toll free or local number approximately five minutes prior to the commencement of the call:

               Toll-free at 1-800-309-1256 or local at 1-647-792-1239
               Passcode: 469845

Voting at the Meeting will be completed only by proxy – there will be no voting via teleconference. Accordingly, Unitholders are strongly encouraged to complete and submit their proxies or voting instruction forms, as applicable, well in advance of the Meeting. The deadline for voting or receiving proxies in relation to the Meeting is 11:00 a.m. (Pacific time) on Friday, April 24, 2020.

Our Amended and Restated Declaration of Trust requires that we hold an "in person" annual general meeting.  Accordingly, certain of our officers and or Trustees will be attending the Meeting in person at the originally announced location for purposes of establishing quorum and voting the valid proxies received.

Full details of the Meeting, including the matters on which unitholders will be asked to vote, are set out in the Notice of Meeting and Information Circular of the Fund, each dated March 17, 2020, copies of which are available under the Fund's profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.

We regret that our unitholders will not be able to attend the Meeting in person, but look forward to having you join the Meeting by teleconference.
